Dan Tuttle, Director of Health
Dan Tuttle began consulting with the Stupski Foundation on its strategy in 2016 and joined as staff in 2018. As Director of Health, he helps senior management launch the Foundation’s initial spend down grantmaking strategies to transform serious illness care and healthy brain development.
Previously, Dan was a Senior Project Manager at Dalberg Global Advisors, a management consultancy focused on the social sector. There he helped organizations meet a variety of goals ranging from increasing youth employment and farmer crop yields to reducing health inequities and consumer waste. His clients included the African Development Bank; IFC/World Bank; UN; Rockefeller, Gates, and Thrive Foundations; Rainforest Alliance; and global technology and payment companies.
Dan also worked for a family office sourcing and analyzing private investment opportunities and is currently an advisor for Orange Door Research.
Dan holds an MBA and MSc in Environment & Resources from Stanford University and a BA from the University of Arizona. He is a Truman Scholar and a Flinn Scholar, and once spoke Spanish, Swahili, Chinese, and Melanesian Pijin.
